Low Land Home has been founded in Jo Geboers' head some years ago. After finding the right space and time, the songs became more concrete in the spring of 2016. It was clear that these five songs had to be made into a record. This is the start of what turned into ‘Underspoken’, the debut EP of Low Land Home.
On ‘Underspoken’ the strength of Low Land Home becomes clear: the cooperation between Jo and his musicians made it possible to synthesize the contradictions of Jo’s own mind into music: silent yet wide, close but still far away, abstract but recognisable. A record where people can find comfort in very personal feelings and thoughts.
This is what ‘Underspoken’ indicates: being able to look at things from a distance while feeling closely connected to them. Standing on the sideline, looking at your own life. But most importantly: finding a way of coming home into your own world.
